The Irish Books, Art & Music Celebration has been held in Chicago since 2009 and each year they work with Irish Authors, Artists and Musicians from all over the world.
In 2024 the event will be held on November 15th, 16th & 17th at the Irish American Heritage Center Chicago, Illinois.
Jim Hegarty was delighted to be invited to attend to speak about “The Hegartys of The Laurels” and to share some of the stories uncovered during his research. There will also be a special screening of “The Hegartys of The Laurels” on Saturday 16th November.
Each year IBAM honours and acknowledges those that contribute to Irish Art, Literature and Music. Congratulations to Cork author Cónal Creedon will receive the 2024 honour for Literature.
